Nathalie Shortal and her husband, Patrick, bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 608 Madeira Ave. in Coral Gables from William and Janice Wolfe for $545,000 on Sept. 22.

The Wolfes bought the property for $384,000 in June 2003. The 1,879-square-foot house in the Granada neighborhood was built in 1940.

Mrs. Shortal has served as the executive assistant to the executive director at the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 427 home sales in Coral Gables in 2008, with a median sales price of $440,000.
