Ms. Barany serves as the director of strategic marketing at Stryker, a medical technology company. She has served as an assistant national marketing manager with the Australian Radio Network and as an associate at Credit Suisse First Boston.

She attended Duke University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 1,134 sales in Hallandale Beach in 2008, with a median sales price of $140,000.
