Kunal S. Kamlani and his wife, Daniela, bought a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath home at 808 Jeronimo Dr. in Coral Gables from John R. Nichols and his wife, Lorraine, for $1.56 million on Oct. 1.

The Nicholses paid $2.1 million for the property in June 2006. The 3,584-square-foot home in the Coral Gables Country Club subdivision was built in 1954.

Kamlani has been the chief financial officer at Prestige Cruise Holdings since July 2009. He was most recently the chief operating officer at Smith Barney, where he was responsible for the finance, risk management and technology strategy organizations. Prior to that, he served as vice president of corporate development for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 419 sales in Coral Gables in 2008, with a median sales price of $449,000.
