Merrill Lynch AVP gets 3BD in West Palm Beach

Medium 75c27be389650e40314ed492823cbd0c Christian E. Langenstein bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 3501 S. Olive Ave. in West Palm Beach from Janet Pleasants and Michael Reiter for $552,000 on Sept. 11.

Pleasants paid $549,000 for the property in April 2005. The 2,448-square-foot home in the West Palm Beach East neighborhood was built in 1925.

Langenstein is a senior financial advisor and assistant vice president at the Palm Beach office of the financial services firm Merrill Lynch. Prior to joining Merrill Lynch, he worked with the high net worth group at Lehman Brothers in Palm Beach.

He has a B.S. in finance from the University of Maryland and an M.B.A. in finance from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management.

Pleasants is a store manager at Graff Diamonds in Palm Beach. She formerly was a store manager at Tiffany & Co.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 2,670 sales in West Palm Beach in 2008, with a median sales price of $255,000.
