Simon and Antoine Karam sold a three-bedroom, three-bath condo at 848 Brickell Key Dr. in Miami to Haydee L. Pabon for $1.25 million on Oct. 1.

The Karams paid $750,000 for the property in April 2002. The 2,767-square-foot Unit #4405 is part of Three Tequesta Point, a high-rise residential development which has 238 units on 46 floors. It was built in 2001 in the Key Biscayne Bayside neighborhood.

Mr. Karam is an independent real estate professional who has worked at Fininvest Realty Group LLC in Fort Lauderdale.

He attended the Boston University School of Management.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 2,091 condo sales in Miami in 2008, with a median sales price of $180,000.
