Theodore and Patricia Breyer bought a two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 4545 N. Ocean Blvd. in Boca Raton from Loretta Mugavero for $550,000 on Sept. 25.

Mugavero, along with Salvatore Mugavero, bought Unit #17C for $435,000 in Nov. 2001. The 2,100-square-foot condo is part of the Admiral's Walk Tower, a development in the Boca Raton Eastside neighborhood.

Mr. Breyer heads the carbon fibers and composites unit of SGL Carbon AG. Prior to his appointment in 2008, he was the head of the performance products unit.

He earned his chemical engineering degree from Columbia University in New York and an M.B.A. from New York University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 651 condo sales in Boca Raton in 2008, with a median sales price of $227,500.
