Dr. James DeVoursney bought a four-bedroom, four-bath home at 2625 N. Lake Dr. in Boynton Beach from Avon Investments Inc. for $1.6 million on Sept. 18.

The 6,496-square-foot house in the Boynton Beach Seaside neighborhood was built in 2006.

Dr. DeVoursney is a dermatologist with the Boynton Beach Skin Institute. He is also affiliated with Bethesda Memorial Hospital in Boynton Beach and Boca Raton Community Hospital.

He earned his M.D. from the University of Miami School of Medicine in 1996.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,323 home sales in Boynton Beach during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $115,000.
