Ms. Lowenstein bought the property for $406,910 in July 2005. The 3,605-square-foot house, which was built in 2005, is located in the South of Lantana/West of Turnpike neighborhood.

Mr. Jacobs is the founder of Merrit Jacobs Consulting, a consulting firm of engineers with expertise in mechanical, software and systems engineering. He has several years of experience in the diagnostic, rocket technology and food processing industries. He has 44 patents to his credit.

He is a 1970 graduate of the State University of New York-Stony Brook.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,394 home sales in Lake Worth during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $151,000.
