Bryan Heath Evans and his wife, Beth Ann, sold a four-bedroom, three-bath home at 8077 Man O' War Road in Palm Beach Gardens to Douglas and Ann Marie Batten for $740,000 on Dec. 1.

Mr. and Ms. Evans paid $450,000 for the property in Nov. 2003. The 4,397-square-foot house was built in 1990 in Palm Beach Gardens Central. It is located in the Horseshoe Acres subdivision.

Mr. Evans is a fullback for the National Football League's New Orleans Saints. He previously played for the Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins and New England Patriots.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,178 home sales in Palm Beach Gardens during the last 12 months, with a median sales price of $215,000.
