Emmanuel Vrotsos and Elena Vrotsos bought a four-bedroom, two-bath home at 9210 Oak Grove Circle in Davie from Richard Haggerty and Diane Haggerty for $318,000 on Nov. 17.

The Haggertys paid $299,750 for the property in Aug. 2003. The 2,494-square-foot house was built in 1996 in Davie Central. It is located in Forest Ridge subdivision.

Mr. Vrotsos is an adjunct professor of science, biology and chemistry at Broward College.

He received his B.S. in biology, master of science in medical sciences from the University of Florida and earned his doctor of philosophy and biomedical sciences from the University of Central Florida.

Mr. Haggerty is a licensed certified residential appraiser in Broward.

According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 1,711 sales in Davie during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $150,500.
