Marilyn and Jon Carleno bought a five-bedroom, five-bath home at 6386 S.W. 191st Ave. in Pembroke Pines from Primacy Closing Corp. for $415,000 on Sept. 24.

Primacy Closing paid $410,000 for the property in Sept. 2009. The 3,496-square-foot house in the Big Sky subdivision was built in 2003.

Ms. Carleno is the senior market research manager of the Latin America and Caribbean regions with the American Express Co. Previously, she worked for General Motors as a senior consultant and was a project manager at a behavior research center.

She attended the College of Lake County, the University of Illinois and the New York Institute of Technology.

Mr. Carleno works as a production manager at the Ford Motor Co.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 3,188 home sales in Pembroke Pines in 2008, with a median sales price of $270,000.
