Hotel owner spends $1.7M in Park Slope

Guy Heksch and Einat Shai bought a 2,736-square-foot apartment at 233 13th St. in Park Slope from Brennan N. Kearney and Brian J. Kearney for $1.7 million on July 14.

The apartment complex was built in 1901.

Heksch is a co-owner of the Library Hotel at Madison Ave.

He is formerly a chef with Daniel Boulud's restaurant in New York, where he also was assistant director of operations.

There have 319 sales in Park Slope/Gowanus in 2008, with a median price of $615,000.
