Community housing, services exec buys in Bay Ridge

Medium e642138f7297dee76abc7002dc968c5e Jeffrey Nemetsky and Jessica Ziegler bought the three-bedroom, one-bath condo Unit #E1 at 7401 Fourth Ave. in Bay Ridge from Robert Massi and Josephine Massi for $385,000 on June 23.

The property is part of the 7401 Fourth Ave. condo development, which was built in 1924 in the neighborhood of Bay Ridge.

Nemetsky is the executive director at Brooklyn Community Housing and Services Inc.

Previously, he was director of operations, planning and policy at New Alternatives for Children Inc. Prior to that, he was director of planning at the New York City Department for the Aging. He has also been director of planning and analysis at the New York City Administration for Children's Services. Before that, he was executive director at Services Inc.

He received his B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and his master's degree in public administration from Columbia University.

Sales at 7401 Fourth Ave. fell 20 percent from 2007-2008. The median sales price rose 20 percent during that time period.

There were 173 condo sales in Bay Ridge in 2008, with a median sales price of $253,000.
