Dr. Steven P. Greiner and Marianne Greiner sold a two-bath home at 812 N. Webster St. in Wheaton to Alice and William Hartley for $305,000 on July 23.

The Greiners paid $370,000 for the property in May 2005. The 1,611-square-foot house, which was built in 1955, is in the Wheaton Northeast neighborhood.

Dr. Greiner is a senior quantitative strategist at Allegiant Asset Management Co. Previously, he was senior quantitative strategist at Harris Investment Management.

He received his B.S. in mathematics and theoretical chemistry from the University of Buffalo and earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in chemical physics from the University of Rochester.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 466 sales in Wheaton in 2008, with a median sales price of $295,000.
