Department of Education auditor buys Wheaton 3BD

Medium 0b25583837abb9c0b39104a0c2c40c60 Jonathan and Olga Enslen bought a three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 1615 Pershing Ave. in Wheaton from Serafin and Susana Jimenez for $300,000 on July 27.

Mr. and Ms. Jimenez paid $250,000 for the property in May 2003. The 1,821-square-foot house, which was built in 1985, is in the Wheaton Southeast neighborhood.

Mr. Enslen is senior auditor at the U.S. Department of Education and a CPA review course instructor at Becker Professional Review. Previously, he was a staff auditor with the U.S. Department of Education and a recruiter at Cors.

He received his B.A. in economics from the University of California–Berkeley an earned an M.S. in management information systems from the Northern Illinois University College of Business.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 466 sales in Wheaton in 2008, with a median sales price of $295,000.
