Frank Schnitzler and Jin Schnitzler sold a one-bath home at 1022 Prairie Trail in Grayslake to Countryside Landfill Inc. for $502,007 on June 10.

The Schnitzler acquired the house for $437,000 in Oct. 2001. The 3,124-square-foot house in Prairie Crossing was built in 2001.

Mr. Schnitzler is the owner of Schnitzler Commercial Real Estate.

He previously was director of product management at Robert Bosch Tool Corp. He also was product manager at Stihl and general manager for Snapper Deutschland at Briggs and Stratton.

He attended the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and Wilhelm Hittorf Gymnasium.

There were 264 sales in Grayslake in 2008, with a median sales price of $235,000.
