Dr. Mark N. Damiano and Lisa Marie Damiano sold a two-bedroom, two-bath home at 647 Broadview Ave. in Highland Park to Kathleen O'Meara for $377,500 on July 9.

The Damianos bought the property for $403,000 in Aug. 2005. The 1,126-square-foot house was built in 1933 in Ravinia Highlands in the Highland Park East neighborhood.

Dr. Damiano is an internal medicine physician who has practiced in the Naval Hospital in Great Lakes, Ill.

He has also been deployed to the Middle East to provide medical care in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

He received his M.D. in 2002 from Stritch School of Medicine at Loyola University Chicago. He completed his residency in 2005 from the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.

Mrs. Damiano is a lawyer who has worked for Azulay Seiden Law Group, which specializes in immigration law. She has also worked for VisaNow.com, an online immigration visa services provider.

She received her B.A. from Indiana University and her J.D. from the Catholic University of American Columbus School of Law.

There were 277 home sales in Highland Park in 2008, with a median sales price of $450,000.
