Estate of late hospital executive sells Highland Park home

Medium d0e5c1c18b9af7736a3a64cee3750fba Marlene Nibbe and the estate of Susan Nibbe sold a two-bath home at 545 Broadview Ave. in Highland Park to Mark Becker and Julie Fohrman-Sametz for $360,000 on July 14.

Nibbe bought the property for $402,486 in Oct. 2001. The 1,632-square-foot house was built in 1926 in the Highland Park East neighborhood.

Susan Nibbe formerly was vice president and director of finance at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.

She received her associate of arts degree from Rochester Community College and her master's degree in hospital and health administration from the University of Iowa.

She died in Dec. 2008 at the age of 47.

There were 257 home sales in Highland Park in 2008, with a median sale price of $424,000.
