Darcie and Steven Delzell bought a three-bedroom, two-bath home at 811 N. Cross St. in Wheaton from Kaye and William Repke for $421,500 on July 10.

Mr. Repke paid $389,000 for the property in July 2004. The 1,587-square-foot home was built in 1951 in the Wheaton Northeast neighborhood.

Ms. Delzell is an assistant professor of mathematics at Wheaton College.

She received her M.S. degree in mathematics from the University of Illinois-Chicago and her M.S. and Ph.D. in statistics from Southern Methodist University.

According to BlockShopper.com, there were 282 sales in Wheaton in 2008, with a median price of $310,000.
