The Cartaluccas bought the property for $287,000 in Oct. 2007. The 1,108-square-foot house, which was built in 1925, is in Central Des Plaines.

Cartalucca, who is also the listing agent, is a realtor with Coldwell Banker-Park Ridge.

Before he became an agent in 1990, he was in the telecommunications sector for 17 years, working as a teleport supervisor at Norlight Telecommunications. He has also served in the U.S. Marine Corps until 1986.

He graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2004.
