Axel Lehmann and Veronika M. Lehmann have listed for sale a five-bedroom, four-bath home at 49 S. Wynstone Drive in North Barrington for $1.15 million.

Lehmann bought the property for $1.35 million in Oct. 2004. Client Care Center of Prudential Stark Realtors is the listing office for the home.

Mr. Lehmann is the group chief risk officer and a member of the group executive committee of Zurich Financial Services Ltd. He joined the company in 1996 and has since held various executive management and corporate development positions with Zurich Switzerland, Zurich Group Germany and Zurich North America.

Prior to that, he served as the vice president of the Institute of Insurance Economics at the University of St. Gallen, the CEO of North America Commercial, a chairman of the Institute of Insurance Economics, the CEO of Europe General Insurance and the head of corporate planning and controlling at The Swiss Life Group.

He is a graduate of the Wharton School Advanced Management Program. He earned a degree in business administration and economics as well as a Ph.D. from the University of St. Gallen.

There were 34 home sales in North Barrington in 2008, with a median sales price of $750,000.
