Hematologist, dermatologist selling Pepper Pike home

Medium ca486c3310a5235ff96078b785a0b8c1 Dr. Balazs Halmos and Dr. Kat Ferenczi have listed for sale a four-bedroom, five-bath home at 2844 Kersdale Road in Pepper Pike for $429,000.

Halmos and Ferenczi bought the property for $440,000 in June 2006. The 3,645-square-foot house, which was built in 1962, is in the Pepper Pike North neighborhood. Adam Kaufman of Howard Hanna Pepper Pike is the listing agent for the home.

Dr. Halmos is an assistant professor in the hematology and oncology division of the department of medicine at Case Western Reserve University.

He previously was a medicine instructor at Harvard Medical School, a staff physician in hematology and oncology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and a staff physician in the Ireland Cancer Center at Case Medical Center.

He completed his residency training at Semmelweis University and St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center and his clinical fellowship in the division of hematology and oncology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

He received his M.D. from Semmelweis University and M.S. from Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Ferenczi is a dermatologist at the University Hospital in the department of dermatology.

There were 96 home sales in Pepper Pike in 2008, with a median sales price of $346,800.
