The listing agent for the property is Alexandria R. McAdams of Lake Realty Ohio. The Buttes paid $490,000 for the property in Nov. 2004. The 4,373-square-foot house was built in 1914 in the Noah subdivision.

Mr. Butte, founder of The Ohio News Network cable television channel, is the vice president and general manager of WEWS-TV Channel 5, which is owned and operated by The E.W. Scripps Co.

He previously was news director at WMAR in Baltimore, Md., WFLA in Tampa, Fla., WTHR in Indianapolis and WEWS in Cleveland. He also was executive producer at Walt Disney in Burbank, Calif. Earlier he was an anchor, reporter, assignment editor and producer and was a reporter and photographer at WHAS-TV in Louisville.

He also was executive producer and creator of "The Crusaders," an investigative news magazine of Buena Vista Television.

He graduated from Indiana University.

There were 41 home sales in the Edgewater in 2008, with a median sales price of $55,500.
