Mr. Herta is a race car driver and currently runs his own Firestone Indy Lights team named Bryan Herta Autosport. He's competed on a number of circuits in his career but largely in the Indy Racing League, where he competed for Andretti Green Racing. He won the Firestone Indy 400 in 2005 and competed in the Indianapolis 500 five times, finishing as high as third in 2005.

He retired following the 2003 season.
