Phillips is the chief executive officer at AEG Live and promoter of Michael Jackson's This Is It concert tour, and head of the Anschutz Entertainment Group. As a former partner at Stiefel-Phillips Entertainment, he has managed the careers of such artists as Rod Stewart, Prince, Guns N' Roses and Tony Braxton. He was also president and CEO of Gasoline Alley Music, a joint-venture record and publishing company with MCA Records. He most recently served as CEO of independent consulting and management firm Phillips Digital Media.
