Investment banker spends $1.42M in Lincoln Square

Ursula Mills bought condo Unit #11C at 104 W. 70th St. in Lincoln Square for $1.42 million on July 30.

The condo is part of The Walton, located at the southwest corner of Columbus Street.

Mills is the global head of data services at UBS Investment Bank in Stamford, Conn.

Previously, she was chief of staff to the president and chief operating officer of the firm. She joined UBS in 1995 and first worked at its London office. She also spent seven years at Andersen Consulting in London.

She is also the co-chair of the Financial Services Instant Messaging Association, which she founded in 2002.

Born and raised in the UK, she graduated from the College of London with a degree in German and French.

The Walton, which was built in 1903 and converted to a condominium in 1981, has 83 units on 11 floors.

Sales in the building increased from three to eight from 2006-2007. The median sales price decreased by 22 percent, from $1.14 million to $891,250.

Condo sales in Lincoln Square were up 10 percent in 2007 versus sales in 2006. The median sales price was also up from $819,000 to $951,000 during the same period.
