Devin and Sally Aronstam sold a five-bedroom, 4.5-bath home at 1833 Pine St. in Center City West to Edward and Sue Hsu for $1.74 million on June 17.

The Aronstams bought the property for $1.6 million in March 2006. The 6,092-square-foot house was built in 1900.

Mr. Aronstam serves as a director at NY Vantage Properties, one of New York's leading owners of residential and retail property. He is currently overseeing the company's expansion into the Mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Aronstam is a veteran with more than a decade of private equity and capital markets experience.

Prior to that, he worked with Philadelphia-based real estate private equity firm Lubert-Adler Partners, ING Barings Securitization Group and the Securitization Transactions Team at Deloitte & Touche LLP. He began his career at Sandford C. Bernstein & Co., Inc. in the Private Client Group.

He earned his BS in History from the University of Michigan and M.B.A. in Real Estate and Finance from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Aronstam is a health, wellness and fitness professional from Philadelphia.

There were 396 home sales in Center City West in 2008, with a median sales price of $380,000.
