Dr. Lilie Lin and Stanley Chan bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 2517 Panama St. in Center City West from William and Jeong Duffy for $1.3 million on July 15.

The Duffys bought the property for $1.2 million in September 2007. The 3,969-square-foot house was built in 2003.

Dr. Lin is a radiation oncologist at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine in Philadelphia.

She is also an assistant professor of radiation oncology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

She received her medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine and completed her residency at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Washington University.

There were 384 home sales in Center City West in 2008, with a median sale price of $374,300.
