John R. Hargrove and his wife, Mary Cheryl, sold their five-bedroom, five bath at 2280 W. Silver Palm Rd. in Boca Raton for $3,503,410 to Don A. D'Adesky and his wife, Susan, on June 25.

The 6,818 square foot house was built in 1960 and renovated in 2008.

Mr. Hargrove is a lawyer and the president and CEO of Gordon, Hargrove and James, P.A., a law firm with offices in Orlando and Fort Lauderdale.

He currently serves on the board of trustees at Butler University in Indianapolis. He received his J.D. from Indiana University and his bachelor's from Butler.

Home sales in Boca Raton have dropped 24.3 percent thus far in 2008. The median sale price has also dropped $50,000, from $420,000 in 2007 to $370,000 so far this year.
