Robert Covert owned this house in 1998 when he passed away. He was the former managing vice president of Chicago Title and Trust Co. and a founding member of the board of trustees of Central Dupage Hospital. Covert was a Judge Advocate General Corps prosecutor in Tokyo, Japan during the International Military Tribunal conducted by the allies to consider charges against Japanese wartime military and political leaders.
