Former Fannie Mae president and CEO Daniel N. Mudd owns this house. Fannie Mae was founded in 1938 and its corporate purpose is to expand the secondary mortgage market. Mudd collected more than $80 million in his time at Fannie Mae. He was dismissed as CEO when the Federal Housing Finance Agency stepped in as conservator on September 7, 2008. The government has advised him that his severance package will not be paid.
