U.S. Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter owned this house. He was nominated by President Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1938. Frankfurter served on the Supreme Court until he suffered a stroke in 1962. He was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 1963 and passed away in 1965.
