Dunking female phenom grew up in this house

Houston area basketball phenom, Brittney Griner, grew up in this house. She was Rivals.com 2009 National High School Player of the Year while playing for Nimitz High School. Griner was also a 2010 second-team All-American as a freshman with the Baylor Bears. She compiled an NCAA record 223 blocked shots last season. During a 2010 game against Jacksonville State, Griner became the seventh female to dunk in a game.
