Actor, Isaiah Washington, bought this house in 2000. He may best be remembered for his portrayal of Dr. Preston Burke on the hit ABC television program Grey's Anatomy. Washington won two NAACP Image Awards and a Screen Actors Guild Award for his performance on Grey's Anatomy prior to controversial comments made by Washington concerning his homosexual castmate T.R. Knight led to ABC deciding not to renew his contract in 2007. He has appeared in many hit television shows including Law Order, Homicide: Life on the Street and Ally McBeal. Washington has also had roles in films including Crooklyn, Clockers, Bulworth, and Out of Sight.
