Rapper, Slim Thug (Stayve Thomas), grew up in this house. He first gained national attention from his appearance on fellow Houston rapper Mike Jones 2004 hit "Still Tippin'" Thug has also collaborated with female superstars Beyonce Knowles and Gwen Stefani. His 2005 debut release, Already Platinum, sold 130,000 copies in its first week. Slim Thug released his second album, Boss of All Bosses, in 2009 and his third album, Tha Thug Show, is scheduled for release in November of 2010.
