"Blonde Bombshell" lived here

Actress Jean Harlow occupied this house in 1934. She was known as the "Blonde Bombshell" and in 1930 got her first big role in Howard Hughes epic aviation film "Hells Angels." By the mid 1930s Harlow was one of Hollywood's biggest stars having appeared in such films as "Hells Angels" and "Platinum Blonde." In 1937 she was filming "Saratoga" with Clark Gable when she collapsed on the set. She suffered renal failure and passed away one week later at the age of 26.
