Congressman owned this house

U.S. Congressman Richard Welch owned this house in 1947. He was a Congressman from 1926 until he passed away in 1949. Welch was in the State senate from 1910 to 1913 and was Harbor master for the port of San Francisco from 1903 to 1907. He was Supervisor of the city and county of San Francisco from 1916 to 1926.
