St. Louis mayor Francis Slay owns this house. He has been mayor since 2001. Slay was elected to the St. Louis Board of Aldermen in 1985 and was elected president of the board in 1995 and 1999. Prior to becoming mayor, Slay practiced law for 20 years with the firm Guilfoil, Petzall and Shoemake.
