Arthur Lieber owned this house from 1950 to 1953. He was organist and choir director for the Second Baptist Church for 42 years and the United Hebrew Temple for 25 years. Lieber also taught piano, organ and voice. One of his pupils was St. Louis organ legend Stan Kann of Fox Theater fame.
